About Diamond Willow

All diamond willow products are made by hand from the very first step of finding the potential stick in the swamp here in Minnesota to stripping the bark and digging out the diamonds, sanding the wood smooth and finishing the walking stick. This allows us to bring out the natural color and beauty in the wood and why our products are all one of a kind, and allows us to offer canes with naturally attached handles instead of having to make a handle out of what is left over, ours are stronger and much more beautiful and unique

About Dick Nelson

U.S. Navy Veteran Dick Nelson has been making American Diamond Willow for over 5 years and has over 200 variations available. He is retired, and the former owner of Metropolitan Concrete and Masonry in Minneapolis.

His canes are all one piece with natural arc shaped handles, not 2 pieces attached together. He offers marble tops, carved eagle-heads, or billiard balls. You will not find the craftsmanship, detail or personal touches anywhere else!

Personalization available includes, but is not limited to: Engraved names, dates, etc., in your poduct; Pool balls, golf clubs, or carved eagles for the top of your hiking stick; and even your own micro reel on a fishing pole! Each fishing pole, cane, and walking stick comes with a rubber bottom piece for grip.
